Barcelona striker Luis Suarez is a doubt for this weekend’s La Liga clash against Atletico Madrid after picking up a hamstring strain during his side’s 3-2 defeat to Bayern Munich.

La Blaugrana will travel to the Vicente Calderon on Sunday knowing a victory would give them their 23rd league title.

The team returned to training today for the first time since qualifying for the Champions League final.

However, Suarez did physio work on his own and his presence in future sessions will depend on how the injury to his left hamstring develops.

The Uruguay international has tallied 25 goals and 22 assists in his debut season in Spain.

Should Suarez be ruled out of Sunday’s clash at the Calderon, the striker will likely be replaced by Pedro in Barcelona’s starting eleven.
