Liverpool’s 2-1 FA Cup semi-final win against Chelsea yesterday was good news for the Premiership.

For the past decade, the Premiership has been a two horse race with Arsenal and Manchester United dominating the league. Now, looking at next season, it’s finally a four horse race with Liverpool officially joining Chelsea, Man United, and Arsenal as worthy title contenders next year.

If Liverpool can win their midweek game against West Ham and Chelsea can defeat Man United next Saturday, Chelsea will be crowned champions but Liverpool will be tied in second place with Man United (albeit, with Man United having one game in hand over Liverpool).

Can Liverpool, with the momentum from the FA Cup semi-final win, pip Man United for second place?
