The 24 year old played a starring role in Bari’s promotion to Serie A but has only appeared once in a Roma shirt having started the match and had another two substitute appearances.
Gubertis former club is said to be interested in taking the midfiedler back but his agent insists his player will not be leaving Roma.
“For Roma, Guberti is unsellable. Actually, he is playing thanks to his desire. He has never given up and has always given his best,” De Nicola said.
“At the beginning, the Coach had to get results, and trusted in the old guard, but with time he has begun to respect Guberti.”
