Fulham Interested in Signing Michael Bradley in January Transfer Window, Says Report

Fulham are interested in signing US international midfielder Michael Bradley from AS Roma in the January transfer window, according to a report.

Sources in Italy reveal that Bradley is interested in moving to a club in England, but that the deal may only happen if and when Roma are able to sign a like-for-like replacement.

Bradley is believed to have fallen out of favor with AS Roma after new coach Rudi Garcia and the signing of Kevin Strootman in the summer have made Bradley’s position unstable. The American international has made 11 league appearances so far this season.

Bradley previously played with Aston Villa in 2011 on a loan deal from Borussia Monchengladbach. However, then Villa manager Alex McLeish was unimpressed with Bradley and prevented the American from getting much playing time. He made three appearances while at Villa before McLeish refused to extend his contract.

With Bradley possibly heading to Fulham in the January transfer window, the opportunity for Bradley and Clint Dempsey to be on the pitch at the same time will be mouthwatering for USMNT fans (as well as NBC TV executives).
