For soccer fans with DirecTV, DishNetwork, AT&T/U-Verse, Verizon/FiOS, COX, RCN and well as some other smaller providers, FOX Soccer Plus is being offered as a free preview for the next week. The timing couldn’t be better as it includes Matchday 3 of the UEFA Champions League and Europa League as well as key matches in the CONCACAF’s Champions League as well as CONCACAF’s Women World Cup qualifying.
Here are some of the highlights during the Free Preview period:
UEFA Champions League:
Tuesday, October 21st and Wednesday October 22nd:
– 2:45pm ET ‘MulitiMatch 90’
– Here is a chance for many of us to experience for the first time FOX’s newest soccer product — MultiMatch 90 — with a peak into all eight daily simultaneous Champions League matches LIVE as goals are scored and the action unfolds. UEFA themselves have been producing this product for many of the European markets and it will be interesting to see how closely this version (which is produced in the FOX studios in LA) comes to the UEFA version. Call it soccer coverage for the ADHD crowd but I’m certainly there for the experience.
UEFA Europa League:
Thursday, October 23rd:
1:00pm ET Young Boys (SUI) v Napoli (ITA)
3:05pm ET Inter Milan (ITA) v St Etienne (FRA)
CONCACAF Champions League:
Tuesday, October 21st:
8:00pm ET Tauro FC (PAN) v DC United
10:00pm ET Dep. Olimpia (HON) v Portland Timbers
Thursday, October 23rd:
10:00pm ET Dep. Saprissa (CRC) v Sporting KC
Scottish Premiership
Friday, October 24th:
2:30pm ET Aberdeen v Motherwell
Sunday, October 26th:
8:00am ET Hibernian v Hearts
