It’s been 9 long years since the England national team played a game in the United States, but soccer fans in the States will get a chance to see two England games this summer when the Three Lions play Ecuador and Honduras in World Cup warmup matches in Miami in early June.
Just as England will be using the matches to prepare for the 2014 World Cup, so too will opponents Ecuador and Honduras, who have also qualified for the tournament.
This will be a chance of a lifetime opportunity to see many of the Premier League stars up close including Steven Gerrard, Wayne Rooney, Frank Lampard, Joe Hart, Daniel Sturridge, Danny Welbeck, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Antonio Valencia, Maynor Figueroa and Wilson Palacios.
The kick-off times for the matches are:
England vs Ecuador, Wednesday, June 4, 3pm ET
England vs Honduras, Saturday, June 7, 4:45pm ET
Ticket prices start at $35 and can be ordered via Ticketmaster.
According to Ticketmaster, limited quantities of tickets are available for both games, so be sure to order before you regret it.
