Carling Cup Fourth Round Draw Revealed

The draw for the fourth round of the Carling Cup was announced Saturday morning and several plum ties were unveiled. Current Carling Cup champions will play against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Old Trafford, while Newcastle United faces Arsenal at St James’ Park.

In the other matches, Birmingham City will play at home against Brentford, the side who knocked Everton out of the Cup. Wigan plays at home against Swansea, which will see Roberto Martinez face the side he used to manage. Aston Villa will host Burnley. West Brom will play Leicester City away, while West Ham United and Stoke City will play in the Cup just a few weeks after they played against each other in the league.

Ties will be played in the week commencing October 25. Televised games will be announced within the next two weeks.
