NBC Sports Group presents another Premier League packed holiday season with 40 “Festive Fixtures” in 14 days, beginning this Friday, and more than 18 consecutive hours of Premier League programming on Boxing Day (Wednesday, Dec. 26).
This week’s live Premier League coverage begins Friday, December 21, at 2 p.m. ET with Premier League Live, followed by Wolverhampton Wanderers v. first-place Liverpool at 3 p.m ET on NBCSN and Universo. Liverpool retained first place with their win over Manchester United last weekend, while Wolves come off a 2-0 win against Bournemouth.
Live Premier League coverage continues on Saturday, December 22, at 7 a.m. ET with Premier League Mornings on NBCSN, followed by a slate of matches across NBCUniversal networks. Match coverage starts at 7:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN, as fifth-place Arsenal host Burnley at Emirates Stadium. Both teams look to rebound after difficult one-goal losses last weekend: Arsenal fell 3-2 at Southampton, while Burnley were held scoreless against Tottenham.
At 10 a.m. ET, second-place Manchester City face Crystal Palace on NBCSN and Universo with both teams looking for their second straight win. Also at 10 a.m., fourth-place Chelsea host Leicester City on CNBC. Eden Hazard helped push Chelsea past Brighton & Hove Albion last weekend, while Leicester City look to bounce back after a disappointing loss at Crystal Palace.
Rounding out the 10 a.m. ET coverage, NBC Sports Gold presents four exclusive matches: Bournemouth v. Brighton & Hove Albion, Huddersfield v. Southampton, Newcastle v. Fulham, and West Ham v. Watford.
Saturday’s match coverage concludes with Cardiff City v. sixth-place Manchester United at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC and Universo. This will be Manchester United’s first match since the club fired manager Jose Mourinho on Tuesday. Arlo White calls the match, joined by analyst Graeme Le Saux.
This weekend’s coverage concludes on Sunday with Everton v. third-place Tottenham at 11 a.m. ET on NBCSN. Everton aim for their first win in December, while Tottenham look to extend their three-game winning streak.
