Paris Saint-Germain extended their lead to 2-0 over Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League final with a goal by Desiré Doué that sparked protests from the Italian side. The play started with a quick counterattack and finished with Doué finding the net, after a deflection off Federico Dimarco left goalkeeper Yann Sommer off balance.

Earlier in the match, Achraf Hakimi had opened the scoring, finishing a clinical move that put PSG ahead. The French side, chasing their first-ever Champions League title, have looked sharp and efficient so far.

The second goal came in the 20th minute, when Doué — who had assisted Hakimi’s opener — picked up the ball on the break. A fortunate rebound off Dimarco shifted the ball perfectly into his path, and the 19-year-old took full advantage, curling a shot past a stunned Sommer.

However, Inter players immediately surrounded the referee, claiming the ball had gone out of bounds in the buildup. The official signaled for VAR review, but no conclusive evidence was found to disallow the goal, and it stood.
