USA vs Mexico tickets now available for Vegas semifinal

Tickets for the CONCACAF Nations League semifinal between the USA and Mexico in Las Vegas are now available. The game is taking place at Allegiant Stadium on June 15. Two familiar teams, the United States and Mexico also met in the CONCACAF Nations League in 2021. However, that game, hosted in Denver, was in the Final.

In this case, Mexico and the United States are fighting for a chance to play in the final. Both teams finished at the top of their group in League A. However, the United States had the best performance in the group stage with three wins and a draw. Mexico performed the worst of the four teams to advance with two wins and two draws. Therefore, the two play each other in the semifinals, as opposed to the Finals.

Still, you can watch what is sure to be a fiery fixture in June with tickets to USA vs Mexico in the Nations League semifinal.

If this game is similar to the 2021 Nations League, it promises to have fireworks. That game finished as a 3-2 win for the USMNT, with Gio Reyna, Weston McKennie and Christian Pulisic all featuring on the scoresheet. However, it was Mexico that looked the more likely to win for much of the 90. Mexico scored in the second minute of the match, then again in the 79th to take the lead. On both occasions, the US answered.

The rivalry between the United States and Mexico has favored the United States over recent years. In 2021, the USMNT won all three games against Mexico, and all were in competitive games. Most recently, the two played to a scoreless draw at the Azteca in World Cup Qualifying.

Why are there so few US goalkeepers who are good with their feet?

It wasn't that long ago that US goalkeepers were a common sight in the Premier League, playing first-team soccer week after week. Goalkeeper Brad Friedel made 450 Premier League appearances across several clubs including Liverpool, Tottenham, and Aston Villa. Tim Howard made 399 appearances in the Premier League, which included his time at Manchester United […]

30 years of MLS: Why it’s time for the excuses to stop

If I had a nickel for every time I heard an American make an excuse for MLS by saying “Well, the league isn’t as old as other leagues,” I’d be a rich man. Launched in 1996, Major League Soccer is celebrating its 30th season this year. In that time, the league has grown to become […]
