The Messi effect is felt in any stadium. It doesn’t matter if it’s in Panama, Jamaica, or even in MLS itself. After the entertaining match, although without goals, between Chicago Fire and Inter Miami, the League announced a surprising attendance data.

When there was little left for the game to end, the Soccer League of the United States announced that the attendance record had been broken at Soldier Field to see the 10 of Miami, something historic.

Soldier Field, one of the mythical stadiums of the City of Winds, received a total of 62,358 people for the match between the Red Men and the Herons.

Of course, this has a reason and it is because of the drag that Leo Messi and company achieve, the MLS fans want to see the 10 of Argentina in any stadium where he plays.

This is not the only time that Soldier Field gets a crazy entry when Inter Miami visits them. In 2023 something similar happened with 62,124 spectators, although on that occasion they were left wanting to see Leo, since he was recovering from a muscle injury.
