Tottenham attacking midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson opened the scoring for Tottenham Hotspur today in their London derby against Chelsea at White Hart Lane.
The goal came from wonderful interplay between Christian Eriksen, Roberto Soldado and Sigurdsson. Eriksen made a beautiful sharp left turn to open up Chelsea’s defensive third, and made a crisp pass to Soldado, who knocked the ball beautifully into Sigurdsson’s path, where the Icelandic international cooly slotted the ball into the back of the net past Petr Cech.
