Berlin (AFP) – Holders Bayern Munich will host Bavarian neighbours Augsburg in an all-Bundesliga clash in the second round of the German Cup, following Friday’s draw.

Defending German league champions Bayern completed the double last season by beating Borussia Dortmund in the Berlin final last May and will host Augsburg at Munich’s Allianz Arena.

Dortmund have drawn second-division Union Berlin.

The round’s other all-Bundesliga affairs will see Cologne play Hoffenheim and Eintracht Frankfurt take on Ingolstadt.

Third-division giant killers Sportfreunde Lotte, who shocked Werder Bremen in the first round, have been rewarded with a plum tie at home to Champions League side Bayer Leverkusen.

The second round matches will be played on October 25 and 26.

The draw took place on Friday after Bayern beat Bremen 6-0 in the opening match of the 2016/17 German league season.
