French newspaper Le Parisien is reporting that Arsene Wenger is scheduled to meet with Paris Saint-Germain owners next week, while current PSG manager looks likely to replace Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid.
When Wenger was asked about the French rumors recently, here’s what he said:
“First of all I don’t know too much about what’s been said about me. Then I’m concentrating on the next game and the next season. At the end of my contract I’ll see what I can do. I’ve always respected my contracts. I can’t see at my age why that should change.”
It could be an ideal opportunity for Wenger to take on a new challenge with a club that has plenty of money to spend on some of the top players in the world. Plus, it’ll give Wenger an opportunity to return to France, where he began his management career in 1984.
Do you think the newspaper reports of Wenger meeting PSG owners next week are true, or not? And if they are true, do you think Wenger should leave Arsenal? Share your opinions in the comments section below.
