Since this weekend features the semi-finals of the FA Cup, I thought it’d be interesting to take a trip down memory lane to see what a FA Cup semi-final from 1982 was like featuring two teams that in today’s age would seem like unlikely participants at this stage in the tournament.
Queens Park Rangers played West Bromwich Albion in the 1981-82 semi-final. The match was played at Arsenal’s Highbury Stadium on a beautiful spring day.
