Berlin (AFP) – French international Kingsley Coman and Spain midfielder Thiago Alcantara have both recovered from ankle injuries and will feature for Bayern Munich against Werder Bremen on Saturday, according to coach Niko Kovac.

“Thiago is feeling good and Kingsley too but obviously they won’t be playing 90 minutes yet,” said Kovac on Friday.

Coman, who was a member of the French side that reached the final of the Euros in 2016, has been out of action since the opening day of the season against Hoffenheim when he ruptured the syndesmosis ligament in his left ankle.

That was the 22-year-old’s first game back since an injury to the same ankle in February which caused him to miss France’s triumph at the World Cup.

Thiago has also been absent for the last five matches because of an ankle injury sustained during a German Cup match against Rodinghausen.
