This weekend, we have some of the sports networks in the United States trying different tactics to encourage viewers to tune in. TUDN, for example, is debuting eLiga MX — FIFA video game matches played featuring all of the clubs in Liga MX that include footballers from each club facing off against each other. While the broadcasts won’t be in English, it’ll be interesting to see whether the games hold everyone’s attention.
Speaking of FIFA 20, beIN SPORTS Connect will be streaming LaLiga Santander Challenge live in Spanish on Saturday and Sunday.
For English-language viewers, FOX Soccer’s experiment with a talk show that debuted on social media last week has now been elevated to FS1. Featuring Alexi Lalas, Stu Holden and Rob Stone, the show — entitled FOX Indoor Soccer — has, despite its name, nothing to do with indoor soccer.
