BentleyGiovani Dos SantosModricAt times Tottenham looked more like Roma we all know and love. It was only two seasons ago the club from the Eternal City was humiliated 7 – 1 by Manchester United at Old Trafford. Mistakes in defence by Philip Mexes, Daniele De Rossi and keeper Artur aided in Tottenham’s triumph and left Italian fans thinking what is it with English teams and Roma.
Questions must be raised as to off-season preparations, and lack of new player acquisitions by Roma.
Further delays to reinforce the squad could lead to protests amongst Roma Ultras, tactician Spalletti and especially captain Totti who has already voiced his concerns.
