Liverpool and Leeds end the Saturday of Premier League action started on USA Network. Coverage is also available in Spanish via Universo.

In the case of Jesse Marsch, Leeds United supporters will be desperate to see improvements made on the pitch after a disappointing loss last weekend against Fulham. Marsch may feel better knowing that last weekend, Nottingham Forest defeated Liverpool FC. If Steve Cooper’s men can defeat Liverpool, there’s hope for Jesse Marsch’s team.

The game is scheduled at Anfield, so Leeds United will not have the advantage of playing in front of a raucous crowd at Elland Road in Yorkshire, England.

Liverpool-Leeds

In a rarity for the Premier League, Saturday’s game begins at 2:45PM ET. Why start a game so late in the United Kingdom, where the kickoff time is 7:45PM ET on a Saturday night?

The reason for the late kickoff is because Liverpool played in the UEFA Champions League mid-week. So they need time to prepare for Saturday’s match. But Liverpool also play mid-week again, against Napoli on Tuesday. So Saturday night is the best time to give Jurgen Klopp’s side a chance to prepare for Tuesday.

Unfortunately for Leeds United fans traveling by train, the last train leaving Liverpool for Leeds departs midway through the second half. So United supporters will have to find alternate ways to return back to Yorkshire.
