FOX Deportes has announced that Spanish-language broadcasts of Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana will be returning to US airwaves through the end of the year.
The Group Stages of the Copa Libertadores competition were aired on FOX Soccer 2GO streaming service earlier this year, but FOX Sports stopped broadcasting the games in February with no warning and no explanation. Presumably, FOX Sports and CONMEBOL weren’t able to agree on the rights to the competition. But whatever the issue, we’re glad to report that the games will be returning to FOX Deportes for the remainder of the year.
The draw for the round of 16 of Copa Libertadores will be held on June 14. After the draw, World Soccer Talk will update the Copa Libertadores TV schedule for viewers in the United States.
FOX Deportes is available via most cable and satellite TV providers as well as streaming services such as fubo Latino. Games will most probably be available via the paid FOX Soccer 2GO service too.
The 16 teams remaining in the final stages of the 2017 Copa Libertadores competition are:

• Barcelona (Ecuador)
• Atletico Paranaense (Brazil)
• The Strongest (Bolivia)
• Jorge Wilstermann (Bolivia)
• Nacional (Uruguay)
The games will begin on July 4, 2017.
