Foxborough (United States) (AFP) – Brazil were sent crashing out of the Copa America Centenario here Sunday after a hugely controversial goal handed Peru a 1-0 victory.

The five-time world champions were eliminated from the tournament in the group stage for the first time since 1987 after Raul Ruidiaz bundled in a 75th-minute winner for Peru.

Peru qualify as winners of Group B and will now play Colombia in the quarter-finals.
