BBCSport why English football is so bad and stale is money and power of the premier league in 80’s football teams only could have 3 players from abroad and the English football team academies were thriving with new talent but the cost and time to do this now is far to much so it is easier for teams to buy players and through greed we by mainly players from a broad and players will come for the money and attraction from both the media and fans. But this has killed our football we don’t have many talented english players now, for example look at Newcastle one or two english players in their eleven rest from other countries. The joy of British football has gone and unfortunately won’t come back unless Fifa makes changes. We have four years to do it and we can’t wait and do the same what we have been doing for years ago e.g relying on one or two players like David Beckham and Wane Rooney! We need a army we need true people who want to play and enjoy football for what it is kicking a ball and scoring goals for fun and not money. There should be a maximum wage as well as a minimum wage where if you work hard and do well you get a bonus etc. MONEY and GREED has killed our football. we need to do a show like Britain’s got talent and look for talented footballers which will be our British three lions our army our lads that will become the true English team and keep away from players from club teams. We can mold them and make a team that will grow together, work together, gel together and thrive & score together. If the likes of Rooney etc if they want to play for their country well they can make that decision. Maybe as the English team has to be the best two places could be put forward to club players for the best club players, so that they have something to work at instead of getting paid to sit on a bench. Real world I don’t get paid if I don’t work. We need to get the fans the English people to support the players and look forward to their future match’s and success. At the end of the day what have we got to loose. NOTHING!

Well, my favorite teams are Germany and USA but for this World Cup the team I’ve liked to watch has been Chile (by their performance). Costa Rica has been very good too but so far Chile.

Germany has only played one game, which they played very well but they should be.

Germany look formidable. Always disciplined. They might be the only European side along side Holland to make a challenge to the South American teams.
Australia can go home proud, England not so much.

Lose to Australia? Give me a break… The difference is that the Dutch are very clever football players, who simply let Aussies spend their energy, and then took them to the cleaners…, as they did with Chili.., and Spain..

Definitely Germany. They look ready to avenge 2002, 2006, and 2010. I’d put them as the favorites especially because they looked the most solid before the tournament and were criminally overlooked.
