Britain’s Sunday morning soccer discussion show, Sunday Supplement on Sky Sports, dissected the quirks of Cardiff City owner Vincent Tan as well as the sacking of Malky Mackay, and where the Scot goes from here.

On the show, journalist Charlie Wyett of The Sun said:

“There are other quirks as well as I think he was very keen on players with the number 8 in their birthdate. It’s his lucky number. So if you were born on August 8th, 1988, you’d be a Cardiff regular. Crazy!”

“He’s one of the most stupid owners by some fairly high standards of stupid owners,” added Henry Winter of The Telegraph.
