Condolences to the Starling Family

It’s with great sadness to report that Johnathan Starling’s father has passed away. Johnathan has been a long-time contributor to EPL Talk. He has been a regular host of the EPL Talk Chat, hosts the EPL Talk and Third Half podcasts, and has been an integral part of the EPL Talk community since its launch.

His father passed away Saturday afternoon, aged 80, in Jacksonville, Florida. His Dad had been suffering from ill health for several months and had recently been in and out of the hospital. On behalf of EPL Talk, I’d like to send condolences to Johnathan and his family.

At times like these, it’s important for the soccer community to work together to help others. EPL Talk will be making a donation but I encourage you to consider donating whatever you can too — even if it’s a few dollars. When you lose someone so close to you, especially when it’s someone you live with such as in Johnathan’s case, every dollar helps.

If you’d like to make a donation to the family, please send it via PayPal to thethirdhalf@att.net

Thanks in advance for your kindness and generosity.
