How to watch World Cup games on demand

The 2022 World Cup has quite the early start times for many Americans, so many have to watch games on demand. Avoiding spoilers is a challenge, but a necessary one for a fan to get the full experience.

Games kick off at 5 a.m., 8 a.m., 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. for those watching on the east coast. Subtract three hours from those, and west coast audiences have it even worse. For the general public, the USMNT has each group stage game kicking off at a more tolerable 2 p.m. ET. Therefore, it is a reasonable hour for the country as a whole.

For those of us trying to watch virtually every game possible, on demand is a good option. Fortunately, given the rise of streaming and the wide array of ways to watch the World Cup, on demand games are fairly easy to come by.

Tubi, the ad-supported streaming platform from FOX Entertainment, has World Cup content galore. While live games in English-language in the United States are exclusive to FOX and FS1, Tubi still plays a key role.

Watch the 2022 World Cup on demand

Tubi has on-demand access of all 64 games at the World Cup. Again, while the platform does have advertisements, this is free for all users. Games appear on the provider thirty minutes matches end.

Peacock, which has the Spanish-language streaming rights to the World Cup, is also a place to watch the World Cup on demand. While Peacock also has live broadcasts, there are also the on-demand replays of games. Therefore, you can have access to either the Spanish- or English-language replays of games that you miss.

Note that Peacock, unlike Tubi, is not free. Peacock has a monthly subscription fee of $4.99 per month. However, many soccer fans already have a subscription due to the exclusive Premier League games available on the service.
