Italian striker Sebastian Giovinco scored one of the goals of the season last night to help create history by helping Toronto FC qualify for the MLS playoffs for the first time in the club’s 8-year history.

The goal by the 28-year-old Italian has to be seen to be believed. His solo run, cutting inside and bamboozling defenders, and then hitting a beautiful shot that went into the far corner of the net is simply out-of-this-world.

Plus the goal helped Toronto reach its first playoff, which makes it all the more sweeter.

I must say that the goal is made even more beautiful by the wonderful commentary.

“An air of expectation, Giovinco.
Still Giovinco.
Oh Giovinco.
Oh my word!
That is absolutely exceptional.
What can you say about Sebastian Giovinco?
He’s probably scored the goal that takes Toronto FC to the promised land of the playoffs.”

Listen, watch and be amazed.
