The deal between Southampton and Liverpool for center-back Dejan Lovren will be completed within the next 24-48 hours.
The agreement was reportedly in place earlier this week, but it is just now being confirmed that the Croatian defender will have a medical tomorrow before an announcement is officially made of his move to the Anfield club.
The 25-year-old made 31 appearances for Southampton last season and has been a Croatian international since 2009; making 28 appearances for his country.
The fee between the two Premier League clubs is rumored to be around £20 million.
If the deal goes through, Lovren will join a Liverpool side that has already signed several top players this summer including Adam Lallana, Emre Can, Rickie Lambert and Lazar Markovic, while the signing of Loic Remy appears to be nearing its completion.
