Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville shared his thoughts on Manchester United’s January business earlier today during the network’s Deadline Day coverage.

The former United captain expressed that midfielder Anderson – who is finalizing a move to Internacional in Brazil – will be “disappointed” when he looks back on his career in England.

“He has had some really good performances,” Neville said of Anderson. “But no consistently and I wonder whether that has been because of fitness as he’s picked up a lot of injuries.”

“He’ll look back at his Manchester United career with some level of disappointment.”

Neville also commented on the transfer speculation surround Belgium international Adnan Januzaj and the apparent U-turn by midfielder Darren Fletcher – who’s deal with West Ham United broke down over the weekend.

“We’re at a point now where Januzaj has to prove himself this season and I thought it would be a really good one for him with Louis van Gaal coming in,” Neville continued. “He seems his type of player; a winger, technical and gifted as we saw in his fantastic performances last season.”

“I think you’ll see him play quite a few games over the next few weeks. I certainly didn’t think they’d allow him to go out on loan.”

Paris Saint-Germain made a bid for Januzaj during the January window, but last week his agent confirmed that Louis van Gaal had blocked the French champions approach and labeled the teenager “an important player”.

On Fletcher, Neville commented: “I don’t think he’ll be in a rush to get out of Manchester United; he can wait until the summer and do it in his own time.”
