Euro 2024 venues: Germany's ten stadiums hosting games

The legendary locations that will play home to the European Championship in 2024 are generating as much buzz as the teams and players themselves. Amidst ten cities in Germany, a nation known for its storied soccer heritage and fervent supporters, Euro 2024 will occur.

Ten different cities

Located in Berlin, the Olympiastadion is the epicenter of this soccer festival and has played home to several important matches, including the final. Also worth noting is the Allianz Arena in Munich, famous for its beautiful multi-colored light exterior.

At the same time, stadiums like Gelsenkirchen’s Arena AufSchalke and Dortmund’s Signal Iduna Park are known for their exciting environments and fervent fans. Cologne, Hamburg, Leipzig, and Stuttgart are a few other cities with distinctive stadiums.

Euro 2024: Stadiums and matches

Olympiastadion, Berlin

The Olympiastadion is the largest arena for Euro 2024. It has hosted several prominent games on a continental and international level, including every German Cup final since 1985. Soccer fans saw Italy take on France in the 2006 World Cup final there. Also, in 2015, after nine years, Barcelona won the UEFA Champions League final there after defeating Juventus.

RheinEnergieSTADION, Cologne

The RheinEnergieSTADION, which is Koln’s home field, underwent reconstruction to host World Cup matches in 2006. In addition to American football, ice hockey, and music events, it has been the usual site for Germany’s Women’s Cup final since 2010.

Signal Iduna Park, Dortmund

Waldstadion, Frankfurt

Eintracht Frankfurt played its home games in the 1925-built Frankfurt Arena, which has played host to games at many major championships. The UEFA European Championship in 1988 and the FIFA World Cup in 2006 are examples.
