Fans of Italian soccer will be glad to hear that ESPN has decided to move several key matches to air on the flagship ESPN TV network in the next two weeks.

They include a handful of Serie A matches in addition to the 2019/20 Coppa Italia Final. With the Italian season scheduled to restart on June 20, there’s a huge title race on the line. Plus the Coppa Italia semifinals kick off this weekend on ESPN+ with the prospect of Juventus or Milan facing Napoli or Inter in next week’s final.

ESPN’s decision to move more Serie A games to television is a positive move for soccer fans in the United States particularly because there’s the opportunity to gain new viewers since the vast majority of traditional American sports are still dormant.

Here are the matches that will be featured on ESPN television (all kickoff times are Eastern United States):

Wednesday, June 17

Coppa Italia final (Juventus or Milan vs Napoli or Inter), 2:50PM ET, ESPN, ESPN Deportes, Sling Orange, Hulu + Live TV and AT&T TV

Monday, June 22

Lecce vs. Milan, 1:30pm, ESPN, ESPN Deportes, Sling Orange, Hulu + Live TV and AT&T TV

It’s possible that more matches may be moved to ESPN television in the final weeks of the season. All other Serie A matches will be streamed exclusively via ESPN+. View our Serie A TV schedule page for the complete list.

ESPN featuring competitive club soccer on the flagship television network comes hot on the heels of ESPN featuring the DFB-Pokal semifinals this week. The DFB-Pokal final on July 4th will feature Bayern Munich against Bayer Leverkusen on ESPN2.
