MLS Power Rankings Changes

Due to numerous requests the deadline for all future power poll rankings will be extended until Tuesday at Midnight PST. (Wednesday morning on the east coast.) I had initially anticipated only a handful of people voting but because of the Beckham affect or perhaps because of the lack of available MLS oriented websites, this power poll has been very popular. In this day and age of Tivo, many of us do not complete watching the weekends games until midweek so this change will allow the best possible analysis of the matches prior to ESPN’s Thursday prime time match.
