WATCH An Interview With Freddy Adu Reflecting On 10 Years Since His MLS Debut [VIDEO]

Ten years after bursting on to the scene in Major League Soccer, Freddy Adu is now training and on trial with Blackpool in the Skybet Championship.

“I love football in England. In America, all we watch is football in England. It’d be a dream come true to play here some day. I don’t know when that’ll be, but I’ll do whatever it takes to make that happen.”

During the following candid interview, Adu reflects back on his last 10 years and the lessons he learned, and how he is now focused on being a professional footballer instead of just a star off the field.

Adu also discusses his popularity in the computer game Football Manager, and his hopes of making the World Cup squad.
