Following Gabriel Martinelli's entrance, Arsenal have gained significant momentum in attack. While the Gunners entered the second half with evident weaknesses, Justin Timber scored a key goal to lead his team in the game. In a cornerkick, the Dutchman headed the ball, beating Chelsea's Robert Sanchez. With this, Arsenal remain as the sole Premier League leader. 

Ahead of today's game, Eberechi Eze was considered to be key due to his impressive impact in previous games. Nonetheless, the Englishman has struggles to make any impact in the offense, leaving Arsenal without one their best scoreres. 

While Mikel Arteta has relied on Leandro Trossard, he has struggled to make a significant impact on the offense due to Chelsea's relentless high pressing. As a result, the coach substituted him with Gabriel Martinelli. With this change, the coach aims to exploit the Blues' defensive gaps using the Brazilian's speed.

Taking advantage of Arsenal's obvious defensive weaknesses from set pieces, Reece James took a high-quality corner kick, which rebounded off Trevor Chalobah, who headed it towards Joao Pedro. The Brazilian jumped and headed it again, but David Raya made a quality save.

After the first 45 minutes, Arsenal have managed to establish itself as the more dominant team in the game. Despite this, individual errors in defense led to Chelsea's equalizer, which goes into halftime with renewed confidence.

Both William Saliba and Reece James scored the two goals.

After two consecutive corner kicks, Reece James scored an impressive goal, firing a tight shot into the net. Although Piero Hincapie got a touch on the ball, it was the Englishman's cross that led to Chelsea's equalizer, allowing them to go into halftime with more confidence.

We are prepared,” Arteta said.

Acknowledging Chelsea’s solid good strike, Mikel Arteta decided to open up on them: “They can change throughout the game ⁠and they have a manager very comfortable doing that, so we are prepared for the possible scenarios we ⁠can face and then we will try ⁠to be better than them.”
