After a multi-million investment, Arsenal have managed to establish themselves as one of the best teams in the world, maintaining great solidity in all lines. Even so, they are coming off two draws against Wolves and Brentford that made them drop key points, bringing Manchester City closer. With this in mind, the Gunners face Chelsea today, seeking a crucial victory. However, this will not be easy at all, as the Blues also arrive in full form and chase a key victory in the Premier League.

With the surprising departure of Enzo Maresca, Chelsea have experienced a revival in their style of play. Although head coach Liam Rosenior continues to deal with important absences such as Marc Cucurella, Wesley Fofana, Levi Colwill, Jamie Gittens and others, he has managed to keep the team unbeaten in the last five Premier League games. In addition, he has brought out the best version of Enzo Fernández and João Pedro, who are shining in an imposing way.

Not only have the Blues regained brilliant form, but the Gunners have as well. Under Mikel Arteta, they have managed to maintain their defensive consistency, imposing a strong goal-scoring facet, with Viktor Gyökeres and Eberechi Eze leading the team. However, Arsenal could need a brilliant midfield performance, seeking to control Chelsea’s quick attacks while minimizing defensive errors.

Arsenal start as the clear favorites to take the victory today, as they not only arrive in full form, but also have a deep bench. While Chelsea have a large roster, they are dealing with several serious injuries to key players that could complicate their outcome. Even so, the Gunners cannot afford to relax, as the Blues have shown that their greatest strength is the midfield, which can change the entire game.

81'- Gabriel Martinelli breaks Reece James backside!

Following Gabriel Martinelli's entrance, Arsenal have gained significant momentum in attack. With the help of Zubimendi and Saliba, the Brazilian constantly finds himself in one-on-one situations against Reece James, throwing Chelsea off balance. Although he has not scored a goal, he has managed to create more space for his teammates by drawing defenders away. With this, the Gunners are looking to score their third goal.

75' - Pedro Neto's red card forces Chelsea changes and Arsenal also join

Following Pedro Neto's sending off, Chelsea decided to bring on Malo Gusto to replace Jorrel Hato. Alongside him, coach Liam Rosenior brought on Romeo Lavia to replace Andrey Santos.

Taking advantage of the space, Arsenal's Mikel Arteta also decided to make changes to his lineup, bringing on Kai Havertz and Christian Norgaard to replace Viktor Gyökeres and Declan Rice.

70' RED CARD FOR CHELSEA'S PEDRO NETO!

During a counterattack led by Gabriel Martinelli, Chelsea star Pedro Neto committed a strong foul on the Brazilian, halting a promising advance. Having already received a yellow card, he was shown a second yellow by the referee, resulting in his ejection from the game. This development means the Blues lose their most crucial offensive player, further complicating matters for the team.

66' - GOOOOOOOOAL FROM JUSTIN TIMBER, LEADING ARSENAL'S SCORING SIDE!

While the Gunners entered the second half with evident weaknesses, Justin Timber scored a key goal to lead his team in the game. In a cornerkick, the Dutchman headed the ball, beating Chelsea's Robert Sanchez. With this, Arsenal remain as the sole Premier League leader.

55' - Arsenal's Mikel Arteta makes key changes in the lineup

While Mikel Arteta has relied on Leandro Trossard, he has struggled to make a significant impact on the offense due to Chelsea's relentless high pressing. As a result, the coach substituted him with Gabriel Martinelli. With this change, the coach aims to exploit the Blues' defensive gaps using the Brazilian's speed.

53'- Joao Pedro nears Chelsea second goal again!

Taking advantage of Arsenal's obvious defensive weaknesses from set pieces, Reece James took a high-quality corner kick, which rebounded off Trevor Chalobah, who headed it towards Joao Pedro. The Brazilian jumped and headed it again, but David Raya made a quality save.

50' - Enzo Fernandez nears Chelsea's second goal

With Cole Palmer recovering the ball in Arsenal's defensive zone, he passes it to Enzo Fernandez. While the Argentinean runs with the ball, he decided to make a strong shoot that was saved by David Raya.

49'- Chelsea head coach Liam Rosenior bets for Moises Caicedo in a different role!

Following a rocky first half, Chelsea head coach Liam Rosenior decided not to make any changes in the lineup. However, he decided to shift roles between Andrey Santos and Moises Caicedo. 33' - Chelsea star Cole Palmer gets injured.

As Robert Sanchez attempted to clear the ball from his goal, Cole Palmer threw himself to the ground, clutching his groin. Despite this, the Englishman decided to remain on the field, continuing to play despite muscle problems.

30' - Martin Zubimendi's mistake nears Chelsea's tie

While Chelsea have been control with a high pressing, Moises Caicedo remains a all-around player, pressing Arsenal's defense. With that, he pressed Martin Zubimendi, who passed the ball to Gabriel, but fails to control. However, David Raya reached to control the ball, ending the Blues offense.

28'- Arsenal's high pressing beats Chelsea's counterattack

Along today's game, Arsenal have controlled the ball, dominating the offense. Looking to damage their defense, Chelsea have bet for a counterattack. Nonetheless, coach Mikel Arteta has imposed a high pressing that does not let the Blues think and control the ball. With this, Chelsea remain without any clear option to score.

20' GOOOOOOAL FROM WILLIAM SALIBA, ARSENAL LEAD THE GAME

From a corner kick from Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Magalhaes heads the ball towards William Saliba. Without waiting, the Frenchman heads the ball towards the net, beating Chelsea's Robert Sanchez!

16'- Eberechi Eze nears Arsenal first goal

In just a few minutes of play, Robert Sanchez has already made two serious mistakes. In the fifth minute, the Chelsea goalkeeper handed the ball to Gyokeres, who almost scored.
