Barcelona’s victory over Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey final was an epic and emotionally charged affair, but for some players, the weight of defeat proved too much to bear. One such player was Jude Bellingham, whose actions after the match have drawn criticism and sparked outrage among Barcelona fans.

As is tradition, the Barcelona players formed a guard of honor, known as a “pasillo,” to acknowledge Real Madrid‘s runners-up status. The pasillo is meant to be a gesture of respect and sportsmanship, and it was largely a cordial affair, with players shaking hands and even exchanging hugs. However, one player refused to participate in the spirit of the moment.

While FC Barcelona paid tribute to Real Madrid with a pasillo, Jude Bellingham was the only Real Madrid player who refused to shake hands with the Barcelona players.

This cold and unfriendly gesture quickly ignited social media, generating a wave of criticism and indignation among Barcelona fans.

“Bellingham is a great player, but his behavior after the game was unacceptable,” wrote one fan. “He needs to learn to show respect, even in defeat.

Another fan commented, “The pasillo is a tradition, and Bellingham’s refusal to participate was a slap in the face to Barcelona. He needs to apologize.”
