New images of Barcelona’s home shirt for the 2013-14 season have been released.

Love or hate the team, there’s no denying that Barcelona’s home shirt for next season is noticeably different. One of the most unique aspects is the bands near the bottom of the sleeve, which is something I haven’t seen before.

For some reason, v-necks are making a comeback in soccer jerseys, and Barcelona’s shirt for next season has a bright yellow v-neck that jumps out at you.

Gone are the days when Barcelona didn’t have a sponsor. The airline is emblazoned on the front of the shirt, while Unicef are on the back.

Overall, Barcelona’s shirt design manages to keep the traditions of previous jerseys but also takes a step forward to look very modern.
