Mourinho talk Hazard’s injury, being ‘betrayed’ by players

NBC analyst Robbie Mustoe described it as one of the most honest post-match interviews he’s seen from Jose Mourinho. After Chelsea’s 2-1 loss to Leicester at the King Power stadium, Mourinho confessed the Foxes were better for the first hour, but he also admitted to feeling “betrayed” by players’ inability to execute the game plan he set out.

Chelsea, now with more losses this season than their previous two Premier League campaigns combined, stay one point above the league’s bottom three after Monday’s result, one which saw them down two goals by the 48th minute, before they’d put a shot on target. While a 53rd minute switch to three defenders changed the game’s course, Chelsea were only able to pull back one goal, with Loic Remy’s late tally serving as consolation in their second straight loss.
