WATCH ITV's Promo For World Cup 2014 [VIDEO]

In the United Kingdom this summer, both the BBC and ITV will beam the World Cup into the homes of football supporters throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. We’ve already shared with you the World Cup promo videos from BBC. So now it’s time to share the one from ITV (Independent Television).

While the ones for BBC Sport were creative but not as well executed as we had hoped, the ITV one — in contrast — is uninspiring. Yes, we get ITV’s slogan that “Brace yourself, it’s going to be emotional,” but tell us sometbing we don’t know already.

The visuals used in the video below feature some facial expressions and body language that many England supporters are used to seeing in years gone by.
