WATCH Germany Take 1-0 Lead Against Algeria With Beautiful Flick By Andre Schurrle [VIDEO]

In an extremely eventful game, despite what the scoreline indicated, Germany took a 1-0 lead against Algeria in the first half of extra game after a fine flick by midfielder Andre Schurrle.

The goal featured an exquisite touch by Schurrle off the back of his leg after the pass went behind him, but he was able to deflect the ball into the net past the outstretched Algerian goalkeeper Rais.

It was just the opening that Germany needed after a very frustrating 90 minutes where Algeria had several chances to take the lead, while Germany was unable to capitalize on their chances.
