As usual, Cristiano Ronaldo took center stage in the Saudi Pro League. The Portuguese forward gave Al Nassr a crucial boost by scoring two goals against Al Feiha, who had taken the lead early in the match.

The team coached by Jorge Jesus had endured an unusually tough week after the loss to Al Ittihad, which sealed their elimination in the Round of 16 of the King Cup of Champions. That defeat snapped an impressive run for Al Nassr, who had recorded ten straight wins across all competitions.

In the Saudi Pro League, however, their form remained outstanding heading into Saturday. They entered Matchday 7 as the sole leaders of the standings with a perfect record, having won their first six matches of the tournament. And the task seemed straightforward, as they were facing a mid-table side.

Al Feiha, however, made things far more difficult than expected. The visitors took a surprising lead in the 13th minute when Jason struck the opener after a quick counterattack and a delicate finish over goalkeeper Nawaf Al-Aqidi.

The unexpected goal woke up Al Nassr, who took complete control of possession from that moment and camped in the opposing half. In that stretch, Kingsley Coman appeared to score the equalizer, but VAR ruled it out for a prior offside by Sadio Mane.

As the first half drew to a close and the situation looked increasingly complicated for Al Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo stepped up to light the way. Following a well-worked team move that included Joao Felix and Coman, CR7 received the ball inside the box and finished precisely to make it 1–1.

In the second half, Jorge Jesus’ team struggled to create dangerous chances and suffered several counterattacks from Al Feiha that could have led to a second goal. However, in stoppage time, the referee awarded a controversial penalty for Al Nassr, giving Cristiano Ronaldo the chance to score his second goal and secure the victory for his team.

How many goals has Cristiano Ronaldo scored this season?

A large part of the success Al Nassr are enjoying this season has to do with the performances of Cristiano Ronaldo. At 40 years old, the Portuguese forward remains a key figure for both his club and the Portugal national team — and his impressive numbers reflect that.

With his performance on Saturday, Ronaldo reached eight goals in the 2025–26 Saudi Pro League. That places him in second on the league’s scoring chart, one behind his Al Nassr teammate Joao Felix, who has nine.

Across all competitions, Cristiano has tallied nine goals at the club level this season, having also scored once in the Saudi Super Cup. On top of that, he has added five more goals for Portugal in World Cup qualifying.
