TV Times For FIFA World Cup 2014

Now that the excitement is building for World Cup 2014, we’ve compiled a list of TV times when matches will kick off on Eastern Time in the United States.

World Cup 2014 is going to be the most ideal World Cup tournament in terms of kick-off times since 1994 when the tournament was hosted on US soil. That means no more getting up in the middle of the night to watch matches like we did in 2002, and no more morning kickoffs like we had in 1998, 2006 and 2010.

What it does mean is that the kick-off times are going to be perfect for soccer fans who want to watch matches on their lunch break, later in the afternoon or in the early evening. There’s even one match that kicks off at 9pm ET on a Saturday night!

We won’t know which teams will be playing when until the draw takes place on Friday, December 6.

For viewers in the United States, all matches will be on either ABC, ESPN or ESPN2 (as well as WatchESPN.com).
