In their bid to assemble a super team, Al Nassr has completed the signing of Kingsley Coman from Bayern Munich. The French winger will join forces with Cristiano Ronaldo in Riyadh, aiming to collect as many titles as possible in the upcoming season.

According to renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, both clubs reached an agreement for a transfer fee of around €30 million. In addition, Coman is expected to sign a contract that will see him earn €10 million per season.

Coman was one of Bayern’s brightest stars during his eight-year spell with the club, known for his exceptional speed in one-on-one situations and his ability to beat defenders on the wing. However, in recent seasons, his role diminished, and he became one of the players deemed expendable by new head coach Vincent Kompany.

Other signings for Al Nassr

Coman is not the only reinforcement arriving at the Saudi Pro League side. Al Nassr has also secured Íñigo Martínez on a free transfer from Barcelona and Joao Félix for €30 million after a loan spell at AC Milan from Chelsea. According to Portuguese outlet Record, the total cost for Joao Félix could rise to €50 million if performance-related objectives are met.

These moves underline Al Nassr’s ambition to compete at the highest level in both domestic and international competitions, following in the footsteps of other Saudi clubs that have aggressively strengthened their squads in recent transfer windows.

Coman’s numbers at Bayern Munich

Coman first joined Bayern Munich on loan from Juventus in 2015, before making the move permanent in 2017 for €21 million. During his time in Germany, he played 339 matches, scoring 72 goals and providing 71 assists.

His trophy cabinet is equally impressive, boasting 21 titles with Bayern, including:

  • 9 Bundesliga titles
  • 1 UEFA Champions League
  • 1 FIFA Club World Cup
  • 6 German Super Cups

Coman’s experience and winning mentality could prove vital for Al Nassr as they aim to dominate the Saudi Pro League and make a strong push in the AFC Champions League.

With Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mané, and now Kingsley Coman leading the charge, Al Nassr’s attack looks set to be one of the most feared in Asian football this season.
