NBCSN to broadcast Brazil-Switzerland World Cup game in Spanish

Sunday’s massive World Cup game between Brazil and Switzerland will be televised live on NBCSN in Spanish as well as on Telemundo Deportes.

The game, which will be NBCSN’s first-ever World Cup broadcast, kicks off at 2pm ET. Pre-match coverage begins at 1:30pm ET.

Televised live from Rostov Arena in Rostov-on-Don, Russia, the match will be simulcast in Spanish from Telemundo Deportes, the exclusive Spanish-language home of the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Sammy Sadovnik calls the match on Telemundo and NBCSN, joined by Eduardo Biscayart and Juan Pablo Sorin, a former member of the Argentina national team, where he played in two FIFA World Cups.

Led by soccer superstars Neymar, Philippe Coutinho and Gabriel Jesus, Brazil face in their opening match a Switzerland squad featuring Valon Behrami, the first player to represent Switzerland at four World Cups. Brazil, a semifinalist at the 2014 World Cup, aims for its sixth World Cup title.

Asked whether NBCSN will be broadcasting any other World Cup games in Spanish on their network, a NBC Sports spokesperson said no further games were scheduled.

The game will also be live-streamed in Spanish via the Telemundo Deportes En Vivo, fuboTV and NBC Sports apps.
