Liverpool fear that defender Glen Johnson could be out for 10 weeks due to the injury he sustained in the match against Manchester United, according to The Mirror.
Johnson suffered a high ankle sprain in the 1-0 victory against Manchester United on September 1 when he collided with Patrice Evra. But the Anfield club haven’t publicly given a time frame on how long Johnson will be out of action.
The England defender is likely to miss the remaining World Cup qualification matches. Meanwhile, Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers prevented defender Andre Wisdom from going out on loan to Wigan in order to give him defensive options to choose from.
