Klose, The World Cup King

Klose Is Just One Goal Away From Equalling Ronaldo As Top World Cup Goalscorer Of All Time.

Miroslav Klose has blitzed goalscoring records after hitting two against Argentina in Germany’s 4-0 win over the South American side. Klose becomes the second-highest World Cup goalscorer of all time, surpassing the legendary Brazilian Pele and Just Fontaine. Klose is now only one goal away from being the top World Cup goalscorer of all time, just one goal away from Ronaldo’s 15. Klose, who has at least two more games left in this tournament, is set to make history. He is currently tied with the goalscoring record of Gerd Muller, another legendary German striker.

Klose has had an awful club season with Bayern Munich, but with the German national team he has been able to reach the top of his game once again. Should Klose score just one more World Cup goal, he will go down in history as one of Germany’s best ever strikers, and one of the world’s most clinical finishers of all time.

Today’s victory over Argentina sees Germany advance  into the semi-finals, where they will most likely meet European Champions Spain.
