From enticing Klopp into a Gene Simmons impression to the challenge of trying to expand his Scouse, Isaac managed something few would have thought possible, getting the effervescent Reds boss to seem even more open.

Liverpool’s arranged similar interviews in the past, perhaps most memorably last year with Mario Balotelli, but at a time when there is no shortage of adoration for Klopp, it’s nice to see a slightly different angle, one that shows there’s still much about the 48-year-old that can relate to a child.
