Joe Hart Dropped By Manchester City For Clash With Norwich: Daily Soccer Report

Joe Hart has been dropped by Manchester City for tomorrow’s clash with Norwich City, according to a report in The Guardian newspaper.

Costel Pantilimon will start in goal for City after making an impressive performance against Newcastle United in the Capital One Cup midweek.

While Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini remained coy in his press conference interview today and didn’t say whether Hart or Pantilimon would be starting, The Guardian‘s Jamie Jackson reports that Pantilimon trained in goal behind City’s defense today and that he has been given the nod to start.

Hart has been blamed by many for a string of communication errors in the back at City. Pantilimon will get his chance to stake his claim for the starting spot tomorrow (the match will be shown live at 11am ET on Premier League Extra Time in the United States).
