FOX will air the game between Werder Bremen and Bayer Leverkusen live on over-the-air network television on Saturday, October 15.
The match, which will feature Javier Hernandez (aka Chicharito), will pit sixth-place Leverkusen against 15th-place Werder Bremen. With the game being televised live on big FOX, the executives from FOX Sports and the Bundesliga will be hoping for impressive viewing numbers to boost the German league. As of writing, the Bundesliga is averaging 69,000 viewers on US television this season.

Chicharito has scored 33 goals in only 48 games for Bayer Leverkusen, and has already scored five times this season.
Leverkusen is currently six points behind Bayern Munich who are leading the Bundesliga.
Typically, the Premier League is the biggest competitor the Bundesliga faces, but the match that’ll be televised at the same time as Bremen-Leverkusen is Crystal Palace against West Ham United, so the Bundesliga game on FOX will have a fighting chance to match the Premier League.
