EPL Commentator Schedule

EPL commentators on NBC: May 6 to 8

Each of the 10 games on tap in the Premier League this weekend means something. Even though a few feature clubs on polar sides of the table, this point of the season brings desperation out of clubs. The fight to finish at the top of the table is one thing. Yet, the intensity and significance of relegation make these last four games much more nerve-racking.

It all starts Saturday morning with a four-game slate at 10. Most of these games are fairly tame. This does have the biggest discrepancy between teams, though. Manchester City, back to the top of the table after a midweek win, welcomes a struggling Leeds side. Based on form, City looks more likely to win the Premier League, while Leeds cannot get anything going. The drop looks all too likely for the Whites.

Saturday’s late game has Liverpool takes on Brentford at Anfield. Manchester United’s midweek loss at Brighton keeps Liverpool’s hopes of getting into the UEFA Champions League next season alive. However, it faces a stiff test from a Brentford side that is on the verge of another top-half finish.

Sunday morning brings the game of the weekend. Arsenal travels north to Newcastle in a top-three showdown. Arsenal simply has to win all of its remaining games to keep pace with a Manchester City side that is on a tear. Meanwhile, Newcastle can take one step closer to securing Champions League action with a result.

NBC coverage

GOAL RUSH returns on Saturday during the 10 a.m. kickoff window. There are four games in that time slot. This whip-around show focuses on one game with live commentary. However, it does show the goals and major moments from the other three grounds as they happen.

There is a pair of 4K games available for Premier League fans. Those are Saturday’s Manchester City-Leeds contest and the much-anticipated Newcastle-Arsenal game. Higher-resolution broadcasts require correct subscriptions and hardware.
