DC United will host Chivas of Guadalajara in the opening round of the Copa Sudamericana. In March United drew 1-1 with Chivas in the semifinals of the CONCACAF Champions Cup at RFK before losing at Stadio Jalisco 2-1 thanks to a late Chivas goal.
