After much pleading and begging, San Lorenzo have proved their worthiness to obtain the services of another former Ramón Díaz player at River Plate. His former team was in the race for a short period of time but they were not able to show them the money.
Andrés D´Alessandro is close to signing with San Lorenzo after his tempestuous season at Zaragoza where he fought with both Pablo Aimar and recently sacked coach Vicente Fernández. Now with coach Javier Irureta at the helm, his days are already numbered as ¨Jabo¨ has a negative track record with Argentine players.
According to the player’s agent, D´Alessandro already agreed to the move and all that is pending is the Spanish club’s approval.
